How do u calculate ur jail time from incompleted community hours? I was ordered to do 565 hours of comunity service. I completed 100 & couldnt complete my hours ordered. Because i am a care provider to my 83 year old mother & haaving to care for my 65 year old bother who needed medical care at home after a surgical treatment. Now a warrant was issued & i would like to surrender to do my remaining hours in custody. How do u calculate my hours i havent completed to how many days i will do in jail?

While it’s possible to calculate a conversion of FINES between jail time and community service – I don’t believe there is a direct mathematical computation that can be made with respect to custody time. It might be helpful to speak with an attorney in your area who could present you with options ranging from house arrest to a simple continuance.
